Today I visited the Salford Museum and Art Gallery in Peel Park. The main purpose of my visit was to view the exhibition "Queues, Clogs & Redemption" which detailed the work of the Wood Street Mission.
Whilst at the Museum and Art Gallery I also viewed two other exhibitions: "In Service 1918-2017", an innovative project of making plates which detailed the conflicts since Passchendaele to date.
The other exhibition was "What's in Store?", artwork from the University of Salford Art Collection. It included a painting by LS Lowry which I had not seen before.
