Timeline - Saturday 10th August 2013 (Part II) - Brighouse

I was just setting out to go to the Brighouse dance when I got a phone call from a good friend asking where I was, because he was going to go to the dance too - so instead of a journey to Rochdale and then a lift to Brighouse, I got a lift from Manchester.  It was a good programme with quite a few dances I knew. 

I danced: West's Hornpipe, Wild Geese, The Moray Rant, Ashbourne Gingerbread, The Localsh Reel, Best Set in the Hall, S-Locomotion, Father Connelly's Jig, The Snake Pass, The Rose of the North, Linton Ploughman, Pelorus Jack, The Robertson Rant, The Dancing Master, Scott Meikle, Macdonald of the Isles and Mairi's Wedding.  That's just 3 dances not danced.  A good evening and good value for £5.

The only disappointment was the new belt I bought last Thursday (i.e.three days ago) from Primark broke.  I know Primark sell rubbish but three days!  That is really having a laugh.
