Lockdown day #50

The 50th Day in Lockdown ... how many more days will this go on for?  The deaths are continuing to rise, and our pathetic government is congratulating themselves on a "Job Well Done".

I should have gone to an event at Manchester Central Library today - but it was cancelled.  The event was called "Unsung: exploring the untold stories of four pioneering female figures from our past".

I received the invitation to the Co-op AGM with the request "not to attend" - but to vote my email for the Council members and the resolutions.

The Sunday Boys performed a virtual production of "Holding Out for a Hero"

One of my "heroes" sent me a lovely thought ... just a friendly reminder that you get through this week ... it was very kind to get this.

I went to the local cemetery for my exercise and whilst out in the sun read the last two chapters of the book "Band of Brothers" by Alexander Kent.

I took with me some money so that I could get some milk from the corner shop, but resisted the temptation to do so.   I still had my scrambled egg, but made it with evaporated milk - unsurprisingly it made it sweeter, and not unpleasant at all.  I followed it with a tin of peaces, and more evaporated milk!

I watched a film to round off the evening - Scrum - about a Rugby Tournament in Australia.
